The children went on a number hunt and had to write the corresponding numbers in words and digits.

While some children acted out the story of the 3 Little Pigs, others created their own puppet show.

On Roald Dahl Day we studied the story The Giraffe, The Pelly and Me. The children worked in groups to act out the story.
The children made cubes from nets to create packaging for a new sweet to be sold in the Grubber sweet shop from The Giraffe, The Pelly and Me.
The children worked fantastically in teams pretending to be window cleaners from The Giraffe, The Pelly and Me to complete a water challenge, transporting as much water as possible from one end of the field to the other.

We went on a trip to Tattershall Castle and the children made observational drawings of some of the features they found inside and outside the castle.

The children acted out the Hindu story of Rama and Sita in groups.
Indian Experience Day
The children enjoyed dressing up in traditional Indian costumes and took part in Bollywood style dancing.

Rhubarb Theatre Workshop
The children enjoyed taking part in a drama workshop on the theme of Around the World.
The children worked in groups to build a bridge out of sticks to enable Molly Monkey to cross the river. The had to use their knotting skills to join the sticks.
The children practised whittling carrots.
The children had to paint a leaf by mixing different greens using the colours blue, yellow, black and white.
After investigating different micro habitats around the school grounds, the children created their own mini beasts and made a micro habitat for it to live in.
