KS2 Eco Club

Autumn Term 2018-19

First Eco Club of the Autumn Term and we enjoyed being out in our school grounds to do litter picking and bird feeding. Second week and we were joined by Mrs Oglesbee who showed us how to knit ropes to make the rope ladders for our tree village. We also fed the birds, collected the pencil sharpenings, scattered some Nigella seeds and did some watering.
Autumn time means piles of fallen leaves for us to rake up to be composted into leaf mould. We also tidied up around our allotments and cut back the huge Buddleia bush in our pond area.

First Eco Club since we came back after half-term and we began preparations for our forthcoming Christmas Market by designing posters.
