See what we've been up to at KS2 Eco Club! At the first club of the year, we made bird food shapes out of lard, seeds, fruit and nuts for our hungry feathered friends. It's the RSPB's Big School Birdwatch this month so we'll be doing some birdwatching sessions too. We talked about our Eco Rota duties and made our Eco Badges. We had great fun exploring the activities on the RSPB website.
At our first club in February, the Eco Warriors hung up the bird food shapes out in the trees ready to be enjoyed by the hungry birds. They also enthusiastically tidied the Mud Factory and did a big litter pick all over the school grounds - we filled 6 bags with rubbish!
Last club before the half-term break and we went picking sticks, tinder and kindling to make a fire - very exciting!
We were very excited by the visit from the Big Blue Tractor in school and also enjoyed planting our seed potatoes.
